1. Service Description
Guidance service is available for elderly or physically challenged passengers who are unfamiliar with airport environments or unfamiliar with the boarding process. To ensure a smooth journey, we provide necessary guidance and assistance services free of charge for elderly or physically challenged passengers.This service can be reserved through Air China app, Air China hotline, Air China ticketing offices, and our authorized airline sales agents.
2. Applicable Routes
(1) Domestic Routes: Applicable to flights between Beijing Capital International Airport, Chengdu Tianfu/Shuangliu International Airport, Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, Tianjin Binhai International Airport, Wuhan Tianhe International Airport, Wenzhou Longwan International Airport, Hohhot Baita International Airport, and Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport.
(2) International Routes: Only applicable to North American routes operated by Air China, including direct and stopover flights.
3. Application Deadline
(1) Domestic Routes: No later than 16:00 (Beijing time) the day before the flight's scheduled departure time.
(2) International Routes: 48 hours (including) before the flight's scheduled departure time.
4. Service Limitations
(1) Domestic routes: Limited to passengers with disabilities in their left or right legs or other physical disabilities who do not require wheelchair services, passengers aged 65 years and above (including the day of their birthday) with limited mobility, or passengers aged 65 years and above (including the day of their birthday) who are unfamiliar with the airport environment or do not understand the boarding process, with a total of no more than 5 companions. Departure flight services for passengers begin at the check-in counter and end at the aircraft door; arrival flight services for passengers begin at the aircraft door and end at the location designated by the passenger within this terminal.
(2) North American routes: Limited to passengers with disabilities in their left or right legs or other physical disabilities who do not require wheelchair services, and passengers aged 65 years and above (including the day of their birthday) with limited mobility. Departure flight services for passengers begin at the check-in counter and end at the aircraft door; arrival flight services for passengers begin at the aircraft door and end at the location designated by the passenger within this terminal.
(3) If the provision of guidance services is not possible due to legal or governmental requirements, it will be carried out in accordance with the legal or governmental requirements. Please note that this service is not provided on a one-on-one basis.
(4) In order to provide better service, there may be certain limitations on the number of special service requests accepted for each flight. Please refer to the actual service application situation.
5. Voluntary Changes and Cancellations
(1) If you need to cancel the service, you can do so through the original channel of application, Air China ticketing offices, or authorized sales agents.
(2) If you need to change the flight and service, you should cancel the service first and then reapply.
6. Check-in Registration Tips
Passengers who have completed the guidance service should arrive at the check-in counter at least 120 minutes before the estimated departure time of the flight.
