Portable lithium batteries

You may bring laptop computer、cell phone、camera or other portable electronic devices containing lithium batteries not exceeding a watt-hour rating of 100Wh as carry-on baggages and spare batteries on board a passenger aircraft.

Limited portable lithium batteries

With the approval of the operator,lithium batteries exceeding a watt-hour rating of 100Wh but not exceeding 160WH May be carried.No more than two spare batteries can be carried by per passenger.Do not check in luggage

Prohibited lithium batteries

Lithium batteries exceeding 160Wh are forbidden to be carried or checked in luggage.

Prohibited mobile power supply (charge pal)

Mobile power supply(Charge Pal):It is regarded as spare lithium battery and can only be carried in hand baggage.A 100WH-160WH mobile power supply(Charge Pal)can be carried in hand baggage subject to the approval of the carrier,but during flight it is forbidden to use it to charge any electronic devices.A mobile power supply(Charge Pal)with a switch must be in the OFF mode during flight.Any 160WH-plus mobile power supply(Charge Pal)is prohibited from carriage both in hand baggage or in checked baggage.

Protective measures for lithium batteries

Spare batteries must be individually protected so as to prevent short circuits(by placement in original retail packaging or by otherwise insulating terminals,e.g.by taping over exposed terminals or placing each battery in a separate plastic bag or protective pouch)

Serious consequences of carrying lithium batteries illegally

Illegal carrying of lithium batteries will be harmful to personal and property safety.Serious consequences will be subject to legal penalty.
Items likely to contain Dangerous Goods
Not all dangerous materials can be easily identified. Ordinary items declared by passengers and carriers may contain unidentified dangerous materials,or they may be in the post or luggage. In this case,it is necessary that the persons involved are aware of the hidden dangerous goods. When the goods,post,luggage and items carried by airlines are being transferred or received,please check them carefully to identify their contents. Items that may be considered dangerous must not pass without inspection.

  • Items likely to contain wet cell batteries,motors,fire extinguishers,nitrogen vibration dampers,airbag inflation machines/airbag components,carburetters/oil tanks filled or previously filled with fuel,tire inflation devices with compressed gas etc.

  • Items likely to contain compressed air or oxygen cylinders,oxygen generators or liquid nitrogen for cooling.
  • CAMPING / HIKING EQUIPMENT
  • Items likely to contain flammable gases (butane,propane etc.),flammable liquids (coal oil,gasoline etc.),flammable solids (solid alcohol,matches etc.) or other dangerous goods.

  • Items likely to contain substances that fall into the category of dangerous goods,particularly flammable liquids,flammable solids,oxidizers,organic peroxides,toxic or erosive substances.

  • CRYOGENIC(LIQUID)
  • Items likely to contain liquefied gases for cooling,such as liquid nitrogen or helium. These cryogenic liquids are dangerous because exposure to them could cause skin injury and may also cause choking if leaked in a confined space.

  • Items likely to contain cylinders which generally contain a mixture of compressed air or special gases (such as underwater breathing cylinders,and backpack gas cylinders). Empty cylinders (pressure meter reading at zero) are acceptable for shipment. A diving navigation lamp may be fitted with a lead-acid rechargeable battery and a high-intensity diving navigation lamp may produce extreme high heat when activated in the air. Remove the lamp and battery for safe shipment.
