1.Service Description

Visually impaired passengers refer to those who are completely blind, have low vision, or suffer from eye diseases and have limited mobility. To ensure a smooth journey, we provide free guidance and assistance services for visually impaired passengers traveling alone. This service can be reserved through Air China's website, Air China app, Air China hotline, Air China ticketing offices, and our authorized airline sales agents.

2. Applicable routes

(1) Applicable to point-to-point direct flights (including stopover flights) operated by Air China and bearing Air China flight numbers.

(2) Applicable to domestic, international and regional connecting flights operated by Air China with Air China flight numbers:

(a) The choice of connecting flights must meet the requirements of connecting time.

(b) Connecting flights with connecting time within 24 hours (inclusive) on the same day.

(c) Connecting flights with overnight layover time of more than 2.5 hours (inclusive) but not exceeding 5 hours.

(d) Must transit at the same airport (including different terminals of the same airport).

(e) Domestic continuation flights cannot choose the last flight of the day (except for cases where there is only one flight on the same day).

(3) Applicable to all aircraft types operated by Air China.

3. Application Deadline

At least 2 hours (including) before the estimated departure time of the flight.

4. Service Limitations

(1) For safety reasons, visually impaired passengers under 16 years old are not allowed to travel alone and must be accompanied by an adult who is at least 18 years old and has full legal capacity. Visually impaired passengers are also not allowed to sit in emergency exit seats or the upper deck cabin of the B747 aircraft type.

(2) To provide better service, there may be certain limitations on the number of special service requests accepted for each flight. Please refer to the actual service application situation.

5. Voluntary Changes and Cancellations

(1) If you need to cancel the service, you can do so through the original channel of application, Air China ticketing offices, or authorized sales agents.

(2) If you need to change the flight and service, you should cancel the service first and then reapply.

6. Check-in Registration Tips

Visually impaired passengers who have completed the necessary procedures should arrive at the check-in counter at least 120 minutes before the estimated departure time of the flight.

(3) Applicable to flights operated by Shenzhen Airlines on domestic routes (excluding Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) for point-to-point (including stopover) flights.

3. Application Deadline

At least 2 hours before flight departure (inclusive).

4. Voluntary Change and Cancellation of Service

(1) To cancel the service, you may do so through the original application channel, the 95361 hotline, or any direct sales office of Shenzhen Airlines.

(2) To change the flight or service, you must cancel the original service and re-apply.

5. Friendly Reminders

(1) Boarding Instructions

For safety reasons, blind or deaf passengers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a passenger who is at least 18 years old (inclusive) and has full civil capacity.

(2)In-Flight Services

We will make every effort to facilitate passengers' travel. If needed, we will:

A.Assist with placing or retrieving carry-on items;

B.Assist with moving into or out of the seat;

C.Assist with meal preparation;

D.Assist with trips to the restroom.
