I. Scope of Application

1. This rule is applicable to domestic tickets bearing CA flight numbers that are issued and operated by Air China .

2. The refund fees in these rules apply to domestic tickets sold on or after November 17, 2023.

3. These rules apply to flights for which a refund is requested within 2 hours of ticket issuance and for which the departure time is scheduled no later than 4 hours after the ticket is issued. If a refund is requested more than 2 hours after the ticket is issued, or if the flight departure time is within 4 hours after ticket issuance, the refund fee provided in the Fee Schedule for Voluntary Refunds in the Air China Limited — Detailed Implementation Rules for Voluntary Refunds and Voluntary Changes for Domestic Tickets shall apply.

4. These rules do not apply to mileage redemption tickets, group tickets and standby tickets.

II. General Provisions

1. "Flight departure time" in these Rules refers to the scheduled departure time of the flight as shown on the ticket. "48 hours before departure" and "4 hours before departure" are accurate to the minute. For example, for a flight scheduled to depart on November 18, 2023 at 12:10, "48 hours before departure" means 12:10 on November 16, 2023, and "4 hours before departure" means 08:10 on November 18, 2023.

2. "Within two hours of ticket issuance" refers to the two hours between the time the ticket was issued and the time the refund request was submitted. For example, if a ticket is issued on November 21, 2023 at 16:10, the two-hour time frame will apply until November 21, 2023 at 18:10.

3. The refund fees are calculated based on the face value of the corresponding flight segment shown on the ticket. Fees are calculated in RMB and rounded to the nearest whole number.

4. If the ticket is eligible, you can submit a refund request through the Air China mobile app or the Air China WeChat applet. For queries, please contact the Air China hotline on 95583.

5. If a ticket contains multiple flight segments, the entire ticket need to be refunded according to this rule. Partially refund of the ticket is not allowed. The refund handling fee is charged based on the price of the ticket and the charging standard corresponding to the difference between the departure time of the first flight segment listed and the submission time of the refund application.

6. In the case of refunds for tickets that have been changed, checked in or partially used, the corresponding refund fee provided in the Fee Schedule for Voluntary Refunds in Air China Limited — Detailed Implementation Rules for Voluntary Refunds and Voluntary Changes for Domestic Tickets shall apply.

7. Each passenger may submit one refund request for each flight. If a new ticket is purchased which matches the date and flight of the refunded ticket, a refund fee will be charged according to the Fee Schedule for Voluntary Refunds in Air China Limited — Detailed Implementation Rules for Voluntary Refunds and Voluntary Changes for Domestic Tickets.

III.Handling fees for free or discounted refund within 2 hours after purchases.

International and Regional Route Tickets

1. Scope of Applicability

(1) This policy applies to international and regional air transportation tickets sold using the TravelSky system, filled and issued by Air China international transportation ticket, showing Air China flight codes, and actually operated by Air China in China's Mainland.

(2) The refund fee standards listed in this policy apply to international tickets sold on or after August 5, 2024 (inclusive).

(3) This policy applies to refund requests made within 2 hours (inclusive) of ticket issuance for flights where the first segment departs at least 14 (inclusive) days later. If a refund request is made after 2 hours (exclusive) of ticket issuance or the flight departs within 14 days (exclusive) of ticket issuance, the "Voluntary Refund and Change Rules of Air China Limited International Tickets" and the voluntary refund fee standards corresponding to the purchased ticket will apply.

(4) This policy does not apply to mileage redemption tickets, group tickets, and standby tickets.

2. General Rules

(1) The "flight departure time" in this policy refers to the scheduled departure time shown on the ticket. "14 days before the flight departure time" refers to the 14 calendar days before the scheduled departure date of the flight. For example, for a flight scheduled to depart at 12:10 on November 15, 2024, the corresponding "14 days before the flight departure time" is 23:59 on November 1, 2024.

(2)"Within 2 hours after ticket issuance" in this policy refers to the period from the time of ticket issuance to the time of submitting the refund request. For example, if the ticket issuance time is 16:10 on November 1, 2024, the corresponding "within 2 hours after ticket issuance" period ends at 18:10 on November 1, 2024.

(3) Tickets that qualify for refunds under this policy can be processed through the Air China mobile app, Air China WeChat/Alipay mini-programs, or the Air China mobile website. For inquiries, please contact Air China at 95583.

(4) If a ticket includes multiple segments, the entire ticket must be refunded according to this policy; partial refunds are not allowed.

(5) For tickets that have already been changed, checked in, or partially used, voluntary refund requests will be subject to the "Voluntary Refund and Change Rules of Air China Limited International Tickets" and the voluntary refund fee standards corresponding to the purchased ticket.

(6) A passenger may request a free refund within 2 hours of ticket purchase once under this policy for the same flight on the same date. If the passenger repurchases a ticket for the same date and flight that was previously refunded, any subsequent refund requests will be subject to the "Voluntary Refund and Change Rules of Air China Limited International Tickets" and the voluntary refund fee standards corresponding to the purchased ticket.
